The Basis is one of the more interesting self-tracking devices, in terms of the data it records. However, until this week, there was no (official) way to get hold of your data.
There still is no API, but you can now export some of your data as a spreadsheet, which you can import into Zenobase, where you have more options for analyzing your data (including correlating it with data from other sources).

Notes:
- The spreadsheet contains minute-resolution data, but we pre-aggregate the data to hour resolution, since most of the filtering and correlating you’d do in Zenobase happens at that level. But let us know if you’d like to import minute-resolution data anyway.
- We don’t import the GSR values. Presumably, these are used to help calculate the energy expenditure, which we do import, but if you have a good use for those values, we’d be happy to include them.
- Basis apparently doesn’t keep track of time zone offsets. When importing the data, we assume that everything was recorded in your current time zone. If this is not the case, get in touch, and we’ll help you sort out your timestamps.
